The Badgers now own a 23-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lumberton for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Lampasas will play a Raiders team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 24-8.

With the defeat, Giddings drops to 14-11 on the year.
