The Norcom Greyhounds baseball squad (Portsmouth, VA), was overwhelmed 22-1 in Friday's league contest with the host Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA)

With the triumph, Granby moves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Comets travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 7-11. Nansemond River lost 5-4 in their recent league contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)

The Greyhounds now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. Norcom will confront a Crabbers squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 15-0.
