Ohio High School Baseball - Independence wallops Western Reserve Academy
May 9, 2025: Hudson, OH 44236 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the host Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH), saw Independence's baseball team gain a win over Western Reserve Academy by a tally of 11-0.
The Blue Devils (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Orange ran past Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 9-7, in a non-league contest.
The Pioneers now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kiski School for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 14. Western Reserve Academy will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
