Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Purchase Line loses to United

United Lions (Armagh, PA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), 13-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, United advances its record to 8-10 on the season. The Lions host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to battle the Highlanders in a Heritage match on Monday, May 12. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 11-7. Cambria Heights won 14-10 in their recent league match against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA)

The Red Dragons now have a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion Center for a Heritage match on Monday, May 12. Purchase Line will battle a Stingers squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Stingers record now stands at 2-15.
