In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Union Farmers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Irvington Blue Knights.

The Farmers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Summit (Summit, NJ). The Hilltoppers come into the UCC - Watchung challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Summit edged Union (Union, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Knights meet the Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 12. Irvington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Ridgers come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Orange (West Orange, NJ).
