May 9, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24017 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host Fleming Colonels to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 13. Lord Botetourt will play a Vikings squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Fleming moves to 4-6 on the year. The Colonels travel to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Franklin County won 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)
