Iowa High School Soccer - Tipton knocks off Monticello
May 9, 2025: Monticello, IA 52310 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) and the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), saw Tipton's soccer squad triumph over Monticello by a count of 10-0.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Comets enter the River Valley battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Bellevue was overwhelmed by Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA) in a River Valley battle, on Monday, May 12. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 6-0 league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA).
