The Santa Fe Trail Chargers overwhelmed the host Anderson County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Santa Fe Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 21-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 5-4 league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, KS).
