Michigan High School Softball - Vandercook Lake topped by Michigan Center
May 9, 2025: Jackson, MI 49203 Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI), 16-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Michigan Center upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, May 12. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 11-2. Columbia Central lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Howell (Howell, MI)
The Jayhawks now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Grass Lake for a Cascades game on Monday, May 12. Vandercook Lake will play a Warriors squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
