In Saturday's league bout, the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) baseball squad the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), by a tally of 4-1.

Next up, the Beetdiggers encounter the Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) in a 4A/3A/2A Patriot bout, on Monday, May 11. Brush will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 15-7 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to Niwot (Niwot, CO).
