In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Ferndale Eagles.

The Thunderbirds (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Carlson (Gibraltar, MI). The Marauders go into the Downriver game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Carlson knocked off Melvindale (Melvindale, MI), 9-6, in a non-league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors (Southfield, MI) in a Oakland - III game, on Monday, May 11. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 2-7 record after their 14-2 league win over Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI).
