The Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) baseball trounced the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 12-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Maroons now own a 17-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Laurel for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 9. Pulaski County will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-12.

With the defeat, South Laurel drops to 20-14 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to clash with the Generals in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 11. The Generals go into the challenge with a record of 11-17. Jackson County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)
