In Thursday's league test, the visiting North Reading Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Pentucket Regional Sachems.

The Hornets now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Newburyport for a Cape Ann test on Monday, June 14. North Reading will face a Clippers squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Clippers record now stands at 11-0.

In their next game, the Sachems face the Lynnfield Pioneers (Lynnfield, MA) in a Cape Ann test, on Monday, June 14. Pentucket Regional will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.
