Iowa High School Softball - Lake Mills bounces West Hancock
June 10, 2024: Lake Mills, IA 50450 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) and the visiting West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), saw Lake Mills's softball squad nip West Hancock by a count of 6-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belmond-Klemme for a Top of Iowa-West match on Wednesday, June 12. Lake Mills will face a Broncos squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Broncos record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, West Hancock falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA) to face the Eagles in a Top of Iowa-West match on Wednesday, June 12. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-2. Eagle Grove lost 7-2 in their recent league match against Forest City (Forest City, IA)
