Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 8-3 in a non-league bout.

The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles go into the Little Hawkeye bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Pella Christian was routed by Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA), 13-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bombers clash with the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Wednesday, June 11. Ballard will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 11-5 league win over Boone (Boone, IA).
