Iowa High School Softball - New Hampton bounces Waukon
June 10, 2025: Waukon, IA 52172 The New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) softball routed the host Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA), 12-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Chickasaws now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 11. New Hampton will encounter a Huskies team coming off a 10-0 league loss to North Butler (Greene, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Waukon moves to 2-9 on the season. The Indians host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to encounter the Comets in a Northeast Iowa outing on Thursday, June 12. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 6-7.
