New York High School Softball - Clarence holds off Williamsville North
June 11, 2021: Clarence, NY 14031 Clarence Red Devils (Clarence, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Williamsville North Spartans (Williamsville, NY), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Seneca West for a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Monday, June 14. Clarence will battle a Indians squad coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Indians record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Williamsville North falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY) to battle the Quakers in a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Monday, June 14. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 7-5.
