June 11, 2022: Monmouth, ME 04259 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) baseball squad nipped the host Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME), by a margin of 3-2.
With the win, Lisbon betters its record to 19-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to encounter the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 14. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Maranacook won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME)
With the defeat, Monmouth Academy falls to 13-6 on the season.
