Iowa High School Softball - B-G-M bounces West Branch
June 11, 2024: West Branch, IA 52358 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the host West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), witnessed B-G-M's softball squad tip West Branch by a count of 5-1.
The Bears now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Keota for a South Iowa Cedar match on Wednesday, June 12. B-G-M will face a Eagles squad coming off a 20-4 league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.
With the loss, West Branch moves to 3-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Tipton (Tipton, IA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, June 13. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 1-9. Tipton lost 14-0 in their recent non-league match against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA)
