Iowa High School Softball - Prairie City-Monroe bounces East Marshall
June 11, 2024: Monroe, IA 50170 The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs routed the visiting East Marshall Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the Heart of Iowa battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Saydel was routed by Winterset (Winterset, IA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 12. East Marshall will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-3.
