Iowa High School Softball - East Marshall edges West Marshall
June 25, 2024: State Center, IA 50247 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) and the host West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), observed East Marshall's softball team get by West Marshall by a tally of 2-0.
The Mustangs (25-3) will now prepare for their bout against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves go into the non-league bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Montezuma by B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA), 12-7, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) in a Heart of Iowa bout, on Wednesday, June 26. West Marshall will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Greene County (Jefferson, IA).
