In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Simla Cubs (Simla, CO) baseball squad the host Elbert Bulldogs (Elbert, CO), by a final score of 5-1.

With the win, Simla upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Cubs travel to Evangelical Christian (Colorado Springs, CO) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Evangelical Christian won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO)
