June 12, 2023: Hudson, IA 50643 Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host East Marshall for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 14. Hudson will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Denver falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Cyclones host AGWSR (Ackley, IA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 14. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
