Iowa High School Softball - Independence gets by West Delaware
June 12, 2023: Manchester, IA 52057 The Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) softball nipped the host West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA), 4-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (3-11) will now prepare for their bout against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Clippers go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Clear Creek-Amana was edged by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Vinton-Shellsburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, June 14.
