June 13, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51106 Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Black Raiders now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sergeant Bluff-Luton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. Sioux City East will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Le Mars falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA) to battle the Stars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. The Stars enter the challenge with a record of 6-4.
