Iowa High School Softball - Wayne bounces Mount Ayr
June 13, 2025: Mount Ayr, IA 50854 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) and the host Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA), observed Wayne's softball team notch a victory over Mount Ayr by a final score of 11-0.
The Falcons (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Murray (Murray, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Murray was routed by Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 10-8, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) in a Pride of Iowa bout, on Monday, June 16. Mount Ayr will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record.
