Iowa High School Softball - Creston nudges Kuemper
June 14, 2023: Carroll, IA 51401 Creston Panthers (Creston, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Red Oak for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. Creston will face a Tigers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Kuemper falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to face the Cyclones in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. The Cyclones enter the challenge with a record of 1-17. Harlan lost 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)
