June 16, 2025: Murray, IA 50174 The Wayne Falcons baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Murray Mustangs to 4 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.
The Falcons now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lenox for a Pride of Iowa test on Tuesday, June 17.
Next, the Mustangs play the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, June 19. Murray will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Sabers go into the game with a 6-9 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA).
