June 17, 2024: Britt, IA 50423 The West Hancock Eagles baseball team (Britt, IA), was overwhelmed 18-8 in Monday's league outing with the visiting North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA)
The Warriors now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura for a Top of Iowa - West outing on Tuesday, June 18. North Union will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-5.
With the defeat, West Hancock falls to 1-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 18. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-10. South Hamilton lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against West Marshall (State Center, IA)
