June 2, 2022: Fairfield, IA 52556 The Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA) softball routed the visiting Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA), 14-7 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Pleasant Valley held off Davenport North (Davenport, IA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
The Bloodhounds now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league bout on Monday, June 6. Fort Madison will confront a Demons squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Demons record now stands at 3-5.
