June 2, 2025: Dubuque, IA 52002 The Hempstead Mustangs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Jefferson Hawks to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.
The Mustangs now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a non-league test on Monday, June 2. Hempstead will play a Hawks team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
