Iowa High School Softball - Moravia bounces Mormon Trail
June 20, 2024: Garden Grove, IA 50103 Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Mohawks now own a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they host Twin Cedars for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 21. Moravia will battle a Sabers squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Mormon Trail falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Bluegrass - West challenge on Friday, June 21. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 14-7. Orient-Macksburg won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA)
