Iowa High School Baseball - Linn-Mar defeats Cedar Falls
June 20, 2025: Cedar Falls, IA 50613 The Linn-Mar Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Cedar Falls Tigers to 10 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 13-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iowa City for a Mississippi Valley - Valley test on Monday, June 23. Linn-Mar will play a Little Hawks team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Little Hawks record now stands at 28-8.
With the defeat, Cedar Falls drops to 14-8 on the year. The Tigers host Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, June 23. The Rams go into the test with a record of 9-14. Dubuque Senior lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Hempstead (Dubuque, IA)
