Iowa High School Baseball - Union edges Jesup
June 20, 2025: Jesup, IA 50648 The Union Knights baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Jesup J-Hawks to 8 in the Knights league win on Friday.
The Knights now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host East Marshall for a non-league test on Monday, June 23. Union will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-9.
With the defeat, Jesup drops to 4-12 on the year. The J-hawks travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to play the Cougars in a North Iowa Cedar - East test on Monday, June 23. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 10-1. Sumner-Fredericksburg won 21-1 in their recent non-league test against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA)
