Iowa High School Softball - Grand View Christian succumbs to Prairie City-Monroe
June 20, 2025: Monroe, IA 50170 In Friday's non-league test, the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) in a Heart of Iowa test, on Monday, June 23. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 15-2 season record. The Cubs go into the test with a 2-13 record after their 6-2 league loss to Greene County (Jefferson, IA).
The Thunder (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Saydel was routed by Perry (Perry, IA), 8-4, in a league test.
