The Pocahontas Indians edged the visiting Sioux Central Rebels softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 21. Pocahontas will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 10-1 league loss to Creston (Creston, IA).
