June 21, 2024: Tabor, IA 51653 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) and the host Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA), saw Griswold's softball squad nip Fremont-Mills by a count of 9-6.
The Tigers now sport a 19-1 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a non-league match on Saturday, June 22. Griswold will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Fremont-Mills falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, June 22. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-17. Tri-Center lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Audubon (Audubon, IA)
