Iowa High School Softball - Albia bounces Durant
June 21, 2025: Albia, IA 52531 The Albia Blue Demons softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Durant Wildcats to 0 in the Blue Demons non-league win on Saturday.
The Blue Demons now sport a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis County for a South Central battle on Monday, June 23. Albia will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Durant moves to 12-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a River Valley - North battle on Monday, June 23. The Golden Hawks come into the battle with a record of 5-7. Mid-Prairie won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA)
