Iowa High School Softball - Durant sneaks past Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont
June 21, 2025: Eddyville, IA 52553 The Durant Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets to 8 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mid-Prairie for a River Valley - North battle on Monday, June 23. Durant will confront a Golden Hawks team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont moves to 9-12 on the season. The Rockets travel to Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to confront the Panthers in a South Central battle on Monday, June 23. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-13. Knoxville lost 8-6 in their recent league battle against Centerville (Centerville, IA)
