Iowa High School Softball - New Hampton edges Denver
June 21, 2025: New Hampton, IA 50659 In Saturday's non-league match, the host New Hampton Chickasaws softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Denver Cyclones.
The Chickasaws (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Charles City (Charles City, IA). The Comets go into the Northeast Iowa match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, Charles City by Atlantic (Atlantic, IA), 13-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cyclones battle the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - Central match, on Monday, June 23. Denver will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the match with a 13-8 record after their 9-2 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, IA).
