The New Hampton Chickasaws softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Oelwein Huskies to 0 in the Chickasaws non-league win on Saturday.
The Chickasaws now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decorah-North Winneshiek for a Northeast Iowa battle on Monday, June 9. New Hampton will confront a Vikings team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.
