Iowa High School Softball - Pleasantville bounces Madrid
June 22, 2023: Madrid, IA 50156 Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 6-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Mahaska for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. Pleasantville will battle a Warhawks squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Madrid falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 23. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Des Moines Christian lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA)
