June 23, 2025: Camanche, IA 52730 The Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) softball nipped the host Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), 5-4 in Monday's league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Liberty for a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 25. Cascade will encounter a Comets team coming off a 9-1 league win over Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Comets record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Camanche moves to 2-13 on the season. The Indians travel to Clinton (Clinton, IA) to encounter the River Kings in a non-league outing on Tuesday, June 24. The River Kings come into the outing with a record of 3-19. Clinton lost 21-0 in their recent league outing against Assumption (Davenport, IA)
