June 24, 2025: Durant, IA 52747 The Muscatine Muskies got by the host Durant Wildcats softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Muskies meet the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic challenge, on Thursday, June 26. Muscatine will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 21-0 league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA).
The Wildcats (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks go into the River Valley - North challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Mid-Prairie was nudged by Grinnell (Grinnell, IA), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
