June 25, 2024: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) and the visiting North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA), observed Eagle Grove's softball team get by North Union by a final score of 9-7.
The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Bison go into the Top of Iowa-West bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, North Iowa tipped Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA), 13-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, June 27. North Union will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record.
