Iowa High School Softball - Bishop Garrigan bounces North Iowa
June 26, 2023: Algona, IA 50511 The Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears routed the visiting North Iowa Bison softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Golden Bears (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Forest City topped West Hancock (Britt, IA), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bison now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Lake Mills for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 27. North Iowa will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
