June 26, 2023: Davenport, IA 52806 North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muscatine for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 29. North Scott will face a Muskies squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 23-4.
With the loss, Davenport North falls to 14-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host West Burlington (West Burlington, IA) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 27. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 18-8. West Burlington won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Wapello (Wapello, IA)
