Iowa High School Softball - River Valley bounces Kingsley-Pierson
June 26, 2023: Correctionville, IA 51016 River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 15-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Sioux for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 27. River Valley will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-16.
With the loss, Kingsley-Pierson falls to 16-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 28. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 21-6.
