Iowa High School Softball - Saydel gets by West Marshall
June 26, 2024: Des Moines, IA 50313 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), observed Saydel's softball team get by West Marshall by a final score of 3-2.
The Eagles (13-10) will now prepare for their bout against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 29-1 record.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, June 27. West Marshall will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 11-14 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA).
