Iowa High School Baseball - Highland holds off B-G-M
June 28, 2023: Brooklyn, IA 52211 Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Huskies travel to New London (New London, IA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, July 1. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-14. New London lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA)
With the defeat, B-G-M falls to 9-11 on the season. The Bears host Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, July 1. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 7-10. Iowa Valley lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Kee (Lansing, IA)
